About Victoria Williams Turner

Victoria believes in reaching for the stars to realize her dreams. She is a public speaker, business coach, former singer and jazz club owner, and currently a home staging professional and Broker of a multi-million dollar real estate brokerage. Victoria has acquired a keen sense for business relations while negotiating her way through her business life. She has mentored a multitude of individuals in the attainment of their wealth driven goals.

Victoria was born on July 17, 1958, in Sacramento, California, and grew up in the Haight Ashbury District of San Francisco as one of the original “Flower Children” in an entrepreneurial family. She grew up selling hand made paper flowers and jewelry on Haight Street and at the Pacific and Monterey Jazz Festivals. Bartering was one of the ways her family made a living. Victoria could out sell any number of employees her family hired to sell the flowers and jewelry. Victoria’s family encouraged her to live life to the fullest. And thus, she went to college and received a degree as a court reporter and legal administrator.

Victoria learned early in life that the “gift for gab” was a necessity in order to gain success in her many fields of interest. While working for 17 years in the legal industry and raising her 3 children, Victoria decided to specialize in the demanding arena of commercial acquisitions and mergers for mini malls and office buildings. This was a field of law that was predominately male dominated. The “gift for gab” became more prevalent and Victoria’s success in this field gave her the strong negotiating skills needed to have the edge as a woman. She ultimately decided to get her real estate license and take on the world of real estate.

Victoria was driven to be a success in real estate and joined Prudential California Realty where she met her husband, real estate broker and developer Ronnie Turner. Within her first year of business, she became a “Top Producer” to be reckoned with and was asked to teach classes for new agents joining Prudential. She began teaching target marketing, slam dunk marketing package, working with Buyers, canvassing for dollars, listing presentation savvy, and negotiation skills to agents throughout Prudential. Ultimately, Victoria decided to open her own company and perform consulting for a large amount of realtors throughout the East Bay area.

Today Victoria enjoys being the broker of her real estate brokerage and the director for her staging company. She continues to be an educational resource for numerous real estate agents and brokers. Her life experiences brought her many warm memories and teach others to follow their dreams, no matter how great.

Discover the Central Station Project

With

Rick Holliday, President – Holliday Development

Learn
•Real estate development plans for the Central Station project
•The importance of renovating the train station in West Oakland and how it will impact the surrounding areas.
•How as a real estate professional you can get involved in this exciting project
•About other Holliday Development real estate projects

The Central Station project began in December 1999, after Holliday Development recognized the historic and geographic value of an abandoned train station in West Oakland. The property consists of nearly 26 acres at the intersection of I-880 and West Grand Avenue—a six-minute BART ride to downtown San Francisco. The 20,000-square-foot train depot, built in 1912 and designated a historic landmark, will be renovated and serve as inspiration for the surrounding development. Holliday Development is currently working in partnership with HFH Ltd., a local apartment developer, and BUILD West Oakland, an affiliate of BRIDGE Housing, to create an urban village of 1000+ homes, ancillary retail and a renovated train station.

Bay Area native Rick Holliday graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, earning both an undergraduate degree in urban policy, and a master’s degree in city and regional planning. He went on to launch first Eden Housing and later BRIDGE Housing Corporation, two of the most successful affordable-housing corporations in the nation, before starting Holliday Development in 1988. Rick oversees the strategic, corporate, and political positioning of Holliday Development.
